HWRC500 Air-Lift Reverse Circulation Drill Rig (Two Configurations)
HWRC500 500m-depth RC drill rig, available in two configurations: high-pressure HWRC500-1 for hard formations or standard HWRC500-2 for lower operating cost.
Product Intro
The HWRC500 is offered in two configurations built on the same 500m-depth platform, so buyers can match the machine to their ground conditions and budget without stepping up to a different depth class. HWRC500-1 runs a higher working air pressure (1.6–6 MPa) through larger 102/114mm drill pipe and a 132kW Cummins engine — the right choice for harder, more compacted formations or larger hole diameters up to 400mm. HWRC500-2 uses a standard air pressure range (1.2–3.5 MPa), smaller 89/102mm drill pipe and a 110kW Yuchai engine, trading some diameter capacity (max 325mm) for a lighter machine and lower fuel and air-compressor operating costs. If you're not sure which one fits your project, the deciding factor is almost always ground hardness: harder formations need the -1's higher pressure capability.

Applications
● Mineral exploration and water well drilling at 500m depth class
● Choose -1 for consolidated rock or where >325mm diameter is needed
● Choose -2 for standard exploration where operating cost efficiency matters
FAQ
Q: What's the difference between HWRC500-1 and HWRC500-2?
A: Both drill to 500m, but the -1 runs higher air pressure (up to 6 MPa) and larger drill pipe for harder formations and bigger holes (up to 400mm), while the -2 uses standard pressure and smaller pipe for lighter weight and lower operating cost (up to 325mm).
Q: Which configuration should I choose if I'm not sure about ground conditions?
A: If formation data is uncertain or historically variable, HWRC500-1 gives more margin for harder sections; HWRC500-2 is the more economical default for typical unconsolidated-to-moderate ground.
